𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗮
Across India, Dasara is celebrated with devotion. At Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam, Sri Sai Palle, Vizianagaram District, we chose to add one more dimension to it: 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗮. From 14 to 20 October 2026, our annual Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagnam turned the festive week into 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, with each day dedicated to a different need in tribal and rural North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. We are pleased to share the project report.
Over the week, 𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 were reached through our Grama Seva outreach, and 𝟭𝟬𝟴 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 received the groceries and essential materials needed for their meals. We handed over 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 & 𝗥𝗢 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 to Dusi and Amudalavalasa villages, extended 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, and supported 𝟴𝟭 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 under our Divya Sarali Women Empowerment and Social Engineering Project. On 20 October, the 𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗙 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗧𝗠 was inaugurated, bringing on-the-spot screening for 𝟲𝟬+ 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 closer to underserved communities. Seva vehicles were also provided to our field volunteers to strengthen last-mile delivery.
The entire programme was run as a 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲, and every initiative has been mapped to the 𝗨𝗡 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 and the Government of Andhra Pradesh's 𝗣𝟰 (𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 – 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 – 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽) 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗿𝗮 @𝟮𝟬𝟰𝟳.
None of this would have been possible without our partners. We sincerely thank 𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗗, 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗸𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝘁𝗱., 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗸𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗢 𝗖𝗦𝗥 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝘃𝘁. 𝗟𝘁𝗱., along with every donor, volunteer and student who contributed their time and resources.
