7th Day of Devi Navaratri | Mother Mahalakshmi | Sacred Kumkumarchana

With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the seventh day of Devi Navaratri, dedicated to Mother Mahalakshmi, and the third day of Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagnam at Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam, Sri Sai Palle, unfolded in the sacred morning began with Suprabhatam and Nagarasankeethana, awakening the surroundings with devotional singing and prayers to our Loving Bhagawan.

The morning commenced with Ganapati Pooja and Gou Pooja, followed by Mandapaaradhana for Yogini, Navagraha, Vastu and Kshetrapalaka. The sacred observances continued with Sahasra Lingarchana, Surya Namaskarams, Durga Saptashati, Devi Bhagavatam and Ramayana Parayanam. The Ritwiks performed Mahalaxmi Homam, Narasimha Homam, Sai Gayatri Homam and Rudra Homam, filling the sacred atmosphere with the powerful resonance of Vedic mantras and prayers for universal peace and welfare. The morning's worship reaffirmed the eternal truth that spiritual discipline finds its fulfilment in purity of heart, mastery over the mind and the awakening of divine virtues within every individual.

The spiritual sessions enriched the gathering with profound reflections on the Divine, the Guru and the eternal nature of the Self. Sri Kasi Viswanatham, a leading advocate, shared his personal reflections on our Loving Swami, offering heartfelt insights into the transformative grace and divine influence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Sri Venkatarao Guruji expounded upon Sai Tatwa, illuminating the spiritual principles embodied in Bhagawan's life and teachings and their relevance to our daily lives. Sri Swami Krishnanda of the Ramakrishna Mission delivered an insightful discourse on the divine manifestations and spiritual significance of Sri Rama, Sri Lalitha, Sri Krishna and Kali, reflecting upon the underlying unity of the Divine in its many forms.
The principal guest, Pujya Sri Vishnudasananda Swamy, delivered a deeply moving and heart-touching discourse on Guru Tatwa and the Divine Will. His words reminded the gathering that the Guru's grace guides the seeker beyond the limitations of the ego, while surrendering to God's Will opens the heart to faith, acceptance and spiritual freedom.

Our Loving Swami's Divine Discourse touched the hearts of devotees with a profound message on self-mastery, detachment and the realisation of the Self:.“You are a noble soul who has won the hearts of all; You are liberated, having renounced attachment; Ego is the wall that stands in the way; Self-realisation is the inexhaustible treasure of bliss!” These timeless words remind us that the true victory in life is the conquest of our own mind, that freedom begins with the relinquishment of possessiveness, and that the greatest joy arises when the ego gives way to the light of the Atma. The journey towards Divine realisation begins within, through humility, love, selfless service and unwavering faith in God.
One of the most significant and heart-touching moments of the day was the distribution of educational scholarships to 108 students. This noble initiative reflected our Loving Bhagawan's vision of education as a means of character formation, empowerment and service to society. In recognition of their dedicated service, the students of Hindustan Defence Academy received Volunteering Certificates from Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam for their wonderful contributions and selfless participation in seva activities.

Evening Programme | Ramakatha Rasavahini: The evening continued with Ramakatha Rasavahini, taking devotees into the sacred world of the Ramayana through the episode of Chitrakuta Parvatam, the sorrow of Ayodhya in the absence of Lord Rama, and the deeply moving Paduka Pattabhishekam. The narration brought alive the extraordinary devotion of Bharata, whose love for his elder brother transcended the desire for power and the responsibilities of kingship. By placing Lord Rama's sacred Padukas upon the throne, Bharata demonstrated that true leadership rests upon humility, duty, devotion and complete surrender to Dharma. The episode of Paduka Pattabhishekam offered a timeless lesson: when life is guided by Dharma and the Divine Will, even separation becomes an expression of love, and duty itself becomes worship.

As the sacred Devi Navaratri and Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagnam progress, may Mother Mahalakshmi shower Her divine grace upon all, blessing every home with peace, every heart with contentment, every family with well-being and every seeker with spiritual prosperity.
