Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 39

The 39th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya’ was held in Kotha Velagada village in S.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on 30th August 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.

In this camp, 339 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 151 consulted the general physician. 4 women used the services of the gynecologist. 71 were screened for ophthalmology and 17 by the dentist. 61 patients consulted the orthopaedic. 32 consulted the oncologist, while 3 consulted the ENT specialist

Further, 32 were recommended for cataract surgeries while 28 would be provided with spectacles. 13 Dental scaling, 4 dental extractions and 18 fillings were performed for the beneficiaries. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
