Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 34
The 34th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya’ was held in Raji Peta village in S.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on 3rd August 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.
In this camp, 245 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 56 consulted the general physician. 17 women used the services of the gynecologist. 48 were screened for ophthalmology and 40 by the dentist. 36 patients consulted the orthopaedic. 17 consulted the oncologist. 19 consulted the ENT specialist, while 12 took the consultation of the Paediatrician.
Further, 7 were recommended for cataract surgeries while 12 would be provided with spectacles. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries. 14 Dental scalings, 4 dental extractions, 19 dental fillings and 1 dental x-ray were performed for the beneficiaries.
