Guru Pournima 2024 Celebrations

The Guru Purnima festival brings to our memories of His Divine Discourses. More particularly His words:

“I shall readily give you what you want, so that one day you may want what I have come to give you.” What is it that Swami has come to give us? He says “I have come to give you liberation itself.”

Swami emane vaarante

Asalu Swami manaku emivvalani vacharu? Vaaru emannarante “Nenu meeku Mokshamu Prasaadinchudaamane vachaanu.”

The Krodha naama Samvatsara’s Gurupournima celeberations for those at SRI SATHYASAI DIVYAAMRITAM were indeed full of Divine Love showered in the form of a downpour, undoubtedly the benediction by the Rain Gods as a boon, in response to the offerings made in the Yajna the previous day!

Inauguration of SRI SAI SATHYA MAHILA DORMITORY

In its endeavour to step up their efforts to reach out to the Needy SRI SATHYA SAI DIVYAAMRITAM increased their focus on the Cancer awareness Medical Camps and weekly diagnostic Camps in the number of surrounding villages in all directions. These teams hosting the Medical camps and Medical ATM services comprising various other diagnostics and treatments also have been welcomed by the residents with open arms for they afforded them an opportunity to know their health condition and identify the deficiencies too if any. The efforts started yielding the desired results inasmuch these services began to impact the people in these villages in manifold ways be it physically, mentally or spiritually. The glow of gratitude to the Universal Master in their eyes and the bulging numbers in the recipients of services bear testimony to the growth in their awareness. Their awestruck expressions cannot be expressed in words but have to be personally experienced at the Divine event.

Inorder to facilitate the increasing good number of women devotees visiting the project a dormitory has been constructed exclusively for their convenience in a record Time. Out of Her immense compassion and Love Mother Sai was impatient till the construction was completed inorder to give shelter to His Children in all seasons and protect them during all vagaries of weather.

Swami enjoyed naming the pillar-less dormitory after the name of His Devotee Smt Pamidighantam Sathyavathi.w/o Justice Sri Kodanda Ramayyq. What else can this devotee aspire for except to find her name permanently etched in the precincts of the Divine Abode!!!

The MAHILA devotees lost themselves in worshipping their Lord’s Paadukaas performing Ashtottara Puja as their first offering of PURE LOVE on a sacred day as the GURU POORNIMA celeberations their first day in the New Dormitory specially gifted to them. Yes, with Swami it’s always different! Disciples in the world go to their Gurus with GURU DAKSHINAS but Swami enjoys showering boon on HIS CHOSEN ONES!!!

Musical Offering by Two Doctors

The celeberations at DIVYAAMRITAM have always had a cultural or Musical Offering offered At The Lotus Feet. This time it was the turn of two Doctors who rendered soulful singing offering a variety of Keertans in praise of their Lord and transported everyone in the Hall, filled with audience to exactly its full, into ecstatic bliss. This is yet another notable feature. Swami always picked and chose His children who should be attending these programmes for one can only be a witness to such Leelas but yet remaining without a clue. It is best to enjoy these experiences to one’s own content. Interestingly and ironically if one had a time to think of why only the few are blessed Swami would fill their Hearts with just one saying -“To you the physical presence in this limited space is granted but to me the whole Universe is a Hall like place, whoever desires to connect to me and seeks my refuge will draw my Grace as much. Every one of those are also sitting next to Me.”

As if to convey this message and much more to all His Disciples and devotees across the Universe Swami gifted everyone with His Divine Discourse making a beginning with a Sloka from the Bhagavad Gita:

సమోఽహం సర్వభూతేషు న మే ద్వేష్యోఽస్తి న ప్రియః ।

యే భజంతి తు మాం భక్త్యామయి తే తేషు చాప్యహమ్

Nenu Samastha Praanula yandunu samamugaa nundu vaadanu. Naakokadu dweshimpa daginavaadugaani, mariyokadu ishtudu gaani evadunu ledu. Evaru nannu bhaktitho sevinchuduro vaaru naayandunu, Nenu vaari yandunu undumu!

samo ’haṁ sarva-bhūteṣhu na me dveṣhyo ’sti na priyaḥ

ye bhajanti tu māṁ bhaktyā mayi te teṣhu chāpyaham

I am equally disposed to all living beings; I am neither inimical nor partial to anyone. But the devotees who worship Me with love reside in Me and I reside in them.

True Dakshina that a devotee can offer on a day like this Swami said is to Love All and Serve All without any reservation. Following the Divine Command, He said, one can rise to the highest levels of evolution by getting rid of the animal instinct in one. The morning celeberations came to an end with Sumptuous lunch provided as Prasadam to everyone present.

Gostani Ganga Pooja offered at Thatipudi Reservoir by pure prayers for many glories days to witness

One May be able to describe the salubrious weather conditions to some extent but it’s very difficult to describe the serenity one experiences at a given Place. The DIVYAAMRITAM Precincts wore a combination of the Salibrious weather and serenity on this Purnima evening. It was just the previous one full week that Akhand Bhajan was conducted for full 7 days without a break – day and night. The vibrations of their singing no doubt touched the Mother Sai so much that it decided to reward the thirty teams that came from different villages with a set of musical instruments to enable them continue their devotional singing at their places. One should see the joy beaming on their faces to believe it. The proceedings came to a close prior to this distribution when a couple of Volunteers were urged upon to talk on their experiences. A Guest speaker also gave an inspiring talk and awakened their spirits. Swami took care to ensure that everyone had Prasadam in the form of a sumptuous meal before they were urged upon to reach their villages early as the skies were waiting to shower a downpour.
