Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 6

The 6th of the proposed 100 weekly medical camps took place on 18th January at Bhavani nagar and neighbouring areas around the Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam campus. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.

In this camp, 569 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 157 consulted the general physician. While 50 women used the services of the gynecologist, 54 patients consulted the dentist. 59 used Advanced consultations like oncology. 118 were screened for ophthalmology, where 44 will be provided with Spectacles and 9 were referred for surgery. This apart, there were 9 dental extractions 8 scalings and 1 filling conducted. About 131 used the services of the orthopaedic. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
