Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 20

The 20th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya’ was held in Cheedipalem villages in S.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on 24th April 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.

In this camp, 193 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 54 consulted the general physician. While 23 women used the services of the gynecologist, 18 patients consulted the dentist. 22 used Advanced consultations like oncology. 37 were screened for ophthalmology, where 13 will be provided with Spectacles and 4 were referred for surgery. This apart, there were 8 dental fillings , 1 dental extraction and 5 dental scalings conducted. There were 5 consultations attended to by the ENT specialist and 1 by the pediatrician. 33 patients consulted the orthopaedic. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
