Sai Aarogya – Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 10

The healthcare wing of Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare conducted the 10th medical camp, of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps, at Raji Peta Village in S.Kota mandal. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.

In this camp, 437 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 157 consulted the general physician. While 32 women used the services of the gynecologist, 29 patients consulted the dentist. 44 used Advanced consultations like oncology. 69 were screened for ophthalmology, where 28 will be provided with Spectacles and 6 were referred for cataract surgery. This apart, there were 3 dental extractions and 7 dental scalings conducted. About 88 used the services of the orthopaedic, 4 that of the ENT and 14 consulted the Paediatrician. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
