Restoration of Ancient Lord Sathya Narayana Swami Temple

Bhagawan Baba has often said that restoring and maintaining old temples is more important than building new ones. In His gargantuan mission of universal welfare that consists of giant service projects like free healthcare, free education, hunger alleviation etc., restoration of old dilapidated temples also forms an important aspect.

Bhagawan Baba chose to restore a 150 year old Sri Sathya Narayana Swami temple, in VV Palem in Vizianagaram district, back to its ancient glory. The restoration work started on 18th August 2022 and will be inaugurated with Kumbabisekham on the holy occasion of Karthika Poornima this year.

The restoration programme started with an invocation to Lord Ganesha with a Pooja followed by a Navagraha Pooja and Panchamrutha Abhisekham for the Deity. The divine mother cows were worshipped with a Gopooja. Also, the Bhoomi Pooja was performed for the Dwajastambam of the temple. The atmosphere was filled with divinity. The day’s activity came to a close with Divya Prasadam for the devotees.
