Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare, as a part of an initiative powered by its education wing, has set about to touch the lives of 11,000+ rural government school children in various districts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through the Notebook Drive, where each student will be gifted with 4 high quality crown size notebooks to support their educational cause. As the parents of most of these students are dependent on daily wages, they are often unable to support educational investments like books for their children.

As a part of this drive, Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare has, as a Diwali gift, distributed about 16,312 notebooks to about *4078* children studying in various rural government schools spanning 4 districts of Telangana. This comprises of 1771 government school students in Bibinagar in Yadadri district, 1664 government school students in Bachannapet in Jangaon district, 518 government school students in Siddipet district, and 125 government school children in Parupalli village in Kotapalli mandal in Mancherial district in the state.

Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare has been actively involved in serving the needy in various ways including healthcare, education, hunger alleviation etc. Particularly in the education wing, the trust is taking a leading effort in providing various types of educational support including scholarships, digital infrastructure etc.

We thank everyone involved for their loving support!
