The mission of free-of-cost high quality healthcare by Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare accelerated further with the inauguration of its second free-of-cost kidney dialysis center, Sai Soukhyam, in Kuchipudi near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. This inauguration has taken place in less than 2 months after the inauguration of the first free-of-cost dialysis center at Hyderabad. The dialysis center was formed in collaboration with RaviPrakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani hospital at Kuchipudi.
In lines of Bhagawan Baba’s message of ‘Service to Man is Service to God’, the auspicious day of Ashadi Ekadasi intertwined with Bakrid, 29th June, was set to be the day of inauguration of this free-of-cost dialysis center that will very much benefit thousands of needy!
The inauguration function started at 11:00 AM with Bhagawan Baba inaugurating the first floor of the facility that was earmarked for the dialysis procedures. The inauguration took place in the honourable presence of Chief Guest Sri Harendhira Prasad IAS, Chief Executive Officer of Dr. YSR ArogyaSri Healthcare trust, Govt. of AP, trustees of RaviPrakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani hospital, trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare amongst other key dignitaries.
Swami spoke to a few beneficiaries and the dialysis procedures were immediately flagged off, a moment, that would benefit thousands of needy in the upcoming future. The first floor also has a Consultation room that can be used for online consultations. Dr. Srikanth Burri conducted the first online consultation in the Divine Presence.
The programme further continued in the ground floor of the RaviPrakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani hospital facility with Vedam chanting. Further the Secretary and trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare welcomed the esteemed audience and emphasized how the trust is addressing to overcome the current day’s scenarios of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity through various massive service projects under divine guidance.
Sri Anand, Chairman of RaviPrakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani hospital, addressed the audience through a Remote conference. The esteemed chief guest, Sri Harendhira Prasad IAS, conveyed his pleasure about this project while recalling how he was involved in volunteering with various service projects of Bhagawan Baba in the past. He called for more youth to take up volunteering for such causes. This was followed by Kuchipudi dance performance by the students of Dr. Chinta Ravi Bala Krishna, a 9th generation Kuchipudi performer.
Bhagawan Baba delivered His Divine Discourse emphasizing the importance of participating in the glorious mission of free high quality healthcare for all.
The programme was brought to a close with the inauguration of the Divya Prasada Canteen in the facility followed by Mangala Harathi.
