Divya Prasada Seva is a compassionate initiative by the Sri Sathya Sai Trust for Universal Welfare, dedicated to alleviating hunger among the underprivileged. This program provides nutritious meals to those in need, especially during nighttime when food resources are scarce. Serving over 120 recipients nightly in and around Visakhapatnam, areas such as Pedagantyada, Gajuwaka Baji Junction, NAD Kotha Road, Simhachalam, and Kothavalasa have benefited from this service, effectively combating night hunger.
In addition to daily meal distributions, Divya Prasada Seva has expanded its reach during significant events. For instance, during the Divya Shivaratri celebrations, the program provided meals to over 12,000 beneficiaries at the 15th-century Sanyaseswara Swamy temple in Vizianagaram.
Complementing this nutritional initiative, the Trust is developing Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam, a charitable hospital near the Thatipudi reservoir in Visakhapatnam. This facility aims to offer comprehensive cancer treatment free of cost, embodying the Trust’s commitment to accessible healthcare for all.
Through these endeavors, the Sri Sathya Sai Trust for Universal Welfare exemplifies its mission of selfless service, striving to uplift communities by addressing essential needs and fostering a spirit of compassion and unity.
