Eco-Friendly Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare distributed 500 idols of Lord Ganesha to families of children studying in MPP School Seethanagaram and Balvikas Bharatha Desam school in Pedagantyada in Visakhapatnam, on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. The distribution event started at 2 PM in the afternoon and concluded by 4:30 PM. The children took great enthusiasm in understanding and spreading the message of conservation of mother Nature and to promote advantages of worshipping of ecofriendly Ganesha idols. The children used banners and slogans to spread the message of ecofriendly and naturally sustainable modes of worship of Lord Ganesha. If a child learns, the entire family learns. Thus we are confident that these 500 families have now resorted to a chemical-free and eco-friendly mode of celebrating this holy occasion that invokes the Blessings of Lord Ganesha.
