Day 6 proceedings : Dasara Divya Mahotsavamulu and Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagyam

The sixth day of the holy Navarathri celebrations dawned. The pleasant sunshine bowed down at the holy land of Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam as Suprabhatam and other key daily rituals for the divine Dasara celebrations were performed for the day. Aksharabhyasam was performed after this. One of the main ritwiks Sri Bhargav Sharma expressed his gratitude at the grandeur of the divine event that has been initiated by Swami for Vidwathposhana and Vedasamrakshana. The morning further had a talk by Sri Ishaan Saripalli who dwelled upon the divine names of Mother Goddess Lalitha. He provided insights on each word used to extol the Mother. Swami delivered His Divine Discourse that emphasized on the importance of Grama Seva and how His Mission also has Vidwathposhana and Vedasamrakshana as main pillars which are bound to attain divine success.

The evening’s proceedings, along with its slew of divine activities for the Navarathri such as Chandi Homam, Kumkumarchana, Mandaparchana, Chaturveda Swasti and Darbar seva, treated the devotees to a musical treat by a local group who performed Garidi, a local cultural programme. The performers enraptured the audience with stories on Lord Narasimha and Lord Shiva in the form of the holy bull. The Lord was pleased with their performance and encouraged them to carry on with their contributions to keep the cultural heritage glowing. The evening’s proceedings came to an end with Divya Prasadam served to all. The devotees realized that 6 days flew past buzzing with divine activity and looked forward to the next day’s proceedings!
