Clothing Machines for Soothing Hearts – Empowering women & Creating Livelihood

Indian woman, an epitome of Selfless Love and patience, is an icon of Values-based Living. Protecting their self respect and character has been the top most priority for them. In this vast country of ours preserving this culture has indeed become a big challenge for such a woman. Country today has many a household that are dependent on a woman as the single bread earner for many reasons. Unable to make ends meet, these lamps of sacrifice that are to shed the Light of joy are unfortunately leading their lives in darkness of suffering haunted by hunger, malnutrition, ill health etc. We cannot leave them in lurch-leading their lives in a pathetic way.

Sri Sathya Sai Trust for Universal Welfare, committed as we are to alleviation of suffering of the needy and forlorn have with the Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba varu supported many a woman in the past and made them self- reliant. With His Blessings now again, the Trust has resolved to embark upon the project of providing Sewing Machines free of cost to women to enable them earn their livelihood by handing over Sewing machines to 9 women. We are sure this initiative would inspire many to reach out to all the needy, far and wide, in times to come.
