Some days become unforgettable because they are filled with moments that touch the heart.

The day began with the Divine presence of Loving Swami, accompanied by distinguished guests Sri G.V. Rao, Director – CSR, Volvo Group India and Managing Trustee, Volvo Group Trust, and Dr. E.S. Rao, Former Chairman, IFCI, Senior Director, GMR Group and one among the distinguished IIT alumni, who together experienced the cultural richness of Srikakulam by visiting the sacred Sri Suryanarayana Swamy Temple at Arasavalli and Sri Kurmam, the unique temple of Lord Sri Kurma, the second incarnation of Sri Maha Vishnu.

From there, the entourage proceeded to the blessed village of Pusham, where a newly constructed Shivalayam was visited and Rudrabhishekam was performed. Sri Koona Ravikumar, MLA of Amadalavalasa and PUC Chairman, also joined the Divine gathering.

The much-awaited Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam Safe & RO Drinking Water Plant was then inaugurated. As an auspicious symbol of the beginning of a new chapter for the village, the dignitaries together lifted and offered the first brass water pots to the women of Pusham. It was a deeply touching moment, signifying that every drop of safe water is a drop of health.

On the stage, Sri Ramagopal Garu, in his opening address, beautifully spoke the message of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s unconditional love and service to humanity.

Smt. & Sri Rajalakshmi and Sudarshan Rao, the blessed couple who generously offered their land and constructed the building for the water plant, shared their heartfelt experiences of how this noble initiative became a reality through the efforts of Smt. Bindu and Sri Srinivas, who served as a bridge between the village and the project.

Swami Paratmananda Saraswati, Head, Chinmaya Mission, Srikakulam, spoke on spirituality, selfless service to those in need is itself an expression of spiritual practice.

Dr. E.S. Rao highlighted the possibilities of innovative social engineering and how purposeful collaborations can create sustainable solutions for communities in need.

Sri G.V. Rao, representing Volvo Group India and Volvo Group Trust, spoke with great warmth about their contribution towards providing safe drinking water to Pusham, a village facing a serious water-quality challenge with TDS levels of nearly 1800. He expressed the commitment to continue supporting meaningful initiatives of this nature and to explore many more opportunities for collaboration in the future.

Sri Koona Ravikumar Garu, MLA, delivered a powerful and inspiring address, connecting the responsibility of serving the needy from the village level to the national level. He emphasised the pressing needs of the region and the importance of collective action in improving the lives of rural communities.

The gathering received the loving blessings of Swami, whose divine words and presence filled the atmosphere with Love Love and Love alone. His message reminded everyone that when a prayer is pure and selfless, Bhagawan is ever ready to respond and fulfil what is truly needed.

The programme concluded with heartfelt felicitations and a vote of thanks.

May every drop of water from Pusham become a drop of Health & Happiness.
