The inauguration of the Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam Safe & RO Drinking Water Plant at Jagaram Village, Jami Mandal, Vizianagaram District, is one such memorable occasion. In the esteemed presence of Smt. Kolla Lalithakumari, MLA, S. Kota Constituency; Shri G. V. Rao, Managing Director, Volvo CSR Group Trust; and Shri Bheesetty Babji, AP State Lok Sattaparty President. What begins as a water plant becomes a lasting symbol of care for the health and well-being of an entire community.

The Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam initiative marks a significant step towards safe drinking water, better health and sustainable rural development. Through the purposeful partnership of Volvo Group CSR Trust India and Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare – Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam, a vital community need is being transformed into a sustainable service for the people of Jagaram. Every drop of purified water. Access to safe drinking water strengthens families, supports healthier lives and contributes to the overall well-being of the community.

This noble initiative contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through five interconnected dimensions: SDG 3, 5, 6, 10 & 17. May every drop of Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam at Jagaram become a drop in Health, Happiness.

The programme concluded on a deeply touching note with the distribution of 200 sarees to women and 200 lungis to men from the Jagaram community.
