River Conservation & Cultural Stewardship Initiative | Gostani River, Thatipudi Reservoir

On 29th July 2026, Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam conducted a Ganga Pooja at the Gostani River, Thatipudi Reservoir, reaffirming its commitment to environmental stewardship through India's timeless cultural traditions. The initiative served as a symbolic expression of gratitude towards water, promoting awareness on the importance of protecting rivers, conserving freshwater resources, and strengthening community responsibility towards ecological sustainability.

By integrating cultural heritage with environmental consciousness, the programme encouraged collective participation in preserving the sanctity and purity of our water bodies. Such initiatives contribute towards UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13 – Climate Action, SDG 15 – Life on Land, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, reinforcing the shared responsibility of safeguarding natural resources for future generations.
