Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 41
The 41st medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya’ was held in Ginjeru village in Gantyada mandal in Vizianagaram district on 12th September 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.
In this camp, 514 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 177 consulted the general physician. 9 women used the services of the gynecologist. 96 were screened for ophthalmology and 32 by the dentist. 123 patients consulted the orthopaedic. 36 consulted the oncologist, 3 consulted the paediatrician, while 38 consulted the ENT specialist
Further, 18 were recommended for cataract surgeries while 47 would be provided with spectacles. 7 Dental scaling, 7 fillings and 6 dental extractions were performed for the beneficiaries. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
