Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 37
The 37th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya’ was held in Boddavara village in S.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on 21st August 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.
In this camp, 76 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 11 consulted the general physician. 2 women used the services of the gynecologist. 15 were screened for ophthalmology and 4 by the dentist. 11 patients consulted the orthopaedic. 9 consulted the oncologist, while 4 consulted the ENT specialist
Further, 2 were recommended for cataract surgeries while 4 would be provided with spectacles. 1 Dental scaling and 2 dental extractions were performed for the beneficiaries. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
