Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services – Camp 27

The 27th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya’ was held in Korlam village in Gantyada mandal in Vizianagaram district on 22nd June 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.

In this camp, 327 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 103 consulted the general physician. 11 women used the services of the gynecologist. 69 were screened for ophthalmology and 21 by the dentist. 70 patients consulted the orthopaedic. 44 consulted the oncologist. 7 consulted the ENT specialist while 2 took the advice of Paediatrician. 6 were recommended for cataract surgeries while 28 would be provided with spectacles. This apart, there were 5 dental scalings, 3 dental extractions and 1 filling performed. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
