The day marked the beginning of the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yagnam that coincided with the fourth day of the Sharannavaratrulu when Mata Lalita Tripura Sundari Devi was worshipped.

Rudra Homam and Soma Homam were performed in the morning. The day also had in it the worship of the 1128 Lingas made out of a specific clay identified and collected on the river beds. The Lingaarchana had aavaranaarchana in the morning and abhishekaarchana in the evening

The Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna by its inner significance, is meant to awaken and arouse, through the chanting of Vedic mantras, the latent spiritual force contained within oneself. Such a force when aroused would awaken the urge within oneself to lead a dharmic life in the Sociery. This is indeed the Mission for which Swami has come-for the protection of the Vedas and fostering the Vidwat Poshana. The Yagna in its very elaborate process and proceedings comprises the Surya Namaskars, reading by the Pandits of Devi Bhagavata, Ramayana performing Rudra Yaga not to forget the worship of Sri Chakra, Lalitha Sahasra Namarchana, the chanting of Sai Gayatri, and at the end of them discourses by the Rithwick Vidwans elaborating on various points that go to help in transforming the individuals in fighting the internal enemies in progressing on the path of their spiritual evolution.

In his talk, one Veda Pandit described the SRI SATHYA SAI DIVYAAMRITAM as

Sri Sai Palle Prashanti Nilaya Kshetram, a True Treasure that has a serene sacred atmosphere with the presence of Prathiroopa ansham of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba varu-Sarvaabheeshta Pradata!

Guru Lakshmananda from SiddhiYoga Center, Vizianagaram blessed the audience by his wonderful talk on Yoga and Bhagwan Love & Service. Sri Lakshmanananda Swami elaborated on Amanaska Stiti and Sabda Brahmamu as well as on Nissabda Brahmamu.

In His Divine Discourse Swami enlightened that as one devoted to Him one should remind oneself as Sishta and not as dushta-a sinner so as to become worthy and derive protection of our Swami- The all pervasive Omnipotent. Swami also mentioned that one should remember the sacred words uttered in the talks to be remembered as the promptings by the God through their inner voice.

During the Veda Swasti the Yaagashaala reverberated with narration of all the four Vedas including the Hamsadhwani raagaas.

Day’s proceedings came to an end with

Kolatam groups from Ramabhadrapuram performing Kolatam/Dandiya who danced around, with great skill, with steel urns/containers held on their heads while they performed with the Dandiya sticks in rhythm with the Ramayana songs sung by their gurus. The devotees were enthralled by their dance for an hour that depicted the Divine Avatarhood of Lord Rama and the devotion of the one and the only one Anjaneya!

Aarati was offered to Swami by the Devotees and Divya Prasadam was served to all those present.
