Atma Yatra | Prayagraj | Sangam

Ekameva adviteeyam brahman! The Divinity which is without a beginning or ending is also unique that it is second to none! Perhaps A Long awaited Teertha Yatra for many, which happens just once in 144 years came to light when this Divinity as the Supreme Lord chose to take those chosen in this unprecedented pilgrimage what HE called it, very lovingly an Atma yaatra! The Lord silently guided the concerned to make necessary arrangements long before.

The Divinity always loves to Give Give Give for its Pure Love is beyond the comprehension of anyone!

It is the Power of Love that can accomplish anything and everything.

The Divine Journey with Bhagwan, is yet another discovery for the chosen Twenty five. Traveling with our Bhagwan, to the Maha Kumbh Mela is not by chance nor certainly by one’s choice. Swami blessed and guided to deem this once in a lifetime Divine opportunity as not merely a Teertha-Yatra but to be reverentially recognised and remembered as an Atma-Yatra that opens up deep, introspective path inwardly towards phenomenal transformation and spiritual enlightenment.

The Divine Trip commenced on the 17th Feb to the Triveni Sangama sacred land. Reaching the Prayag Raj on the 18th, The Divine Tents specially made on the river banks very near to the confluence of the three rivers welcomed and thrilled everyone for it reminded them of His nectarine words of their beloved Swami:

“Karma anu Yamuna

Bhakti anu Ganga

Kalisi antar leenamga pravahinche Gnaname Saraswathi”.

After a quick morning Nagara Sankirtana like walk chanting bhajans from the Shiv Yamuna Shibir to the very near Ghat and enjoying a superb motor boat ride gazing the huge crowds on the ghats of other bank, experiencing the salubrious divine weather the group entered, the three waters- in – one flow, reverentially and took the holy dips chanting the Sai Gayatri Mantra. Offerings were then made under the Divine Guidance to the three mothers who cherished and received them with great taste!

To add more vibrance, the Lord gifted as Annapoorna Prasadam, a Parama-Rasa Lingam that got manifested which thrilled everyone and put them into higher levels of amazement and ecstasy. The raptures took everyone into the divine Kingdom when the Rudra Mantra was loudly chanted and reverberated in the skies!

In the evening Swami in His Divine Discourse emphasised the need to study the sacred Grantha Pustakas and also to bring them into daily living by practising duly retain the teachings and lessons learnt in one’s Mastaka to take one on the path of transformation. Swami also emphasised the fact that though Bhagavad Gita was sung at the battle ground the same was meant, not just for Arjuna but for the entire humanity, as a lifetime guidance. Swami also took keen interest in narrating a couple of stories of a lady who came to Shirdi baba from Pehalgaon and the sacredness of the Triveni Sangama and other confluences of rivers of our country! Emphasising on the need to lay faith in the Avataars that descended from time to time in our sacred land Swami clarified that very few Avatars were revered as so during their life time. But in the case of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba the situation is different. Swami urged upon those present to cultivate unflinching faith, for their good,in the Avatar and not be over guided by their thirst for the materialistic worldly desires. The Yatra indeed left indelible impressions in the Hearts of every one when He said

“There is no need for anyone to take another Janma if the purpose of Life is understood in this Janma!”

The third day started with the Suprabhatam, Nagarasankeerthana followed by the gents group going for another Snaan. While the joy of bathing went on Swami guided everyone to practice the communication in silence. It’s said Silence is the best form of elocution. The saying cane as a true Mantra for Everyone’s heart immediately went into Bliss.

The group had then reluctantly proceeded back on their journey, by road, to Divyaamritam for they had no other option but to leave. Truly a difficult option!

The Lord known to be a child among children leaves no stone unturned to give His children a memorable whotrip every moment. Very unexpectedly He induced everyone to an informal but interesting game on the dining table before the menu ordered was served over the lunch! Turn by turn Everyone joyfully executed the task that came up their way drawing a lot. They spoke, sang and acted putting their hearts and souls into whatever they had to perform.

The memorable trip came to an end with everyone happily reaching their destination. The group members slowly turned their minds towards the much awaited Shivaratri and the upcoming samasti upanayanam.
