Sousheelyata-Sapthaham : Day 1

“I Shall install Myself wherever My Glory is sung.”- This has been the Lord’s Assurance. On the other hand, one can be sure of one more dimension of His Grace – whether it is Kailasam or Vaikuntham, He manifests Himself in the respective Form! Similarly, Kodai is synonymous to a place where He enjoys a summer session with His Chosen Ones.

This summer, He has willed to be with His chosen ones in Araku valley – which HE very fondly calls as ‘Andhra Kodai!’ Andhra Kodai is indeed a serene Valley in the extreme north of Andhra Pradesh that would easily enable one to connect to God through nature.

Our Dearest Lord, choosing to bestow His Proximity and Blessings on the select few, started from His Divyaamritam Abode with the entourage after offering Haarathi to Sri Prahlada Varada Lakshmi Narasimha Swami at the Abode! Enroute, Swami stopped and ensured that obeisances were offered to the Grama Devata at the entrance to the Ghat by offering a saree and bangles.

It was around noon when everyone settled at the beautiful picturesque valley village created by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh at the village just on the outskirts of Araku town known for its scenic beauty. It was yet another manifestation of His Grace and Will that made everyone cozy and comfortable though on a hot summer day. If it was a grand new resort that gave shelter to all the fortunate last year; this time it’s a brand new resort with a difference created by the Government of Andhra Pradesh Administration. Yes, indeed, the resort is ready to give an experience of the wonderful living style of the Tribals of the Hills. One should not forget that Araku Valley is a gateway to Labusinga, a place where Snow falls in Andhra Pradesh like Simla or Srinagar every year!

The unfathomable Love of Sai made all the arrangements possible to serve His Children with sumptuous Lunch which was followed after the Annapoorna Homa performed by the Lord Himself to invoke the Blessings of Maatha Annapoorneshwari.

Overlooking the mountainous range all around with three rows of hill ranges visibly one above the other in the Eastern Ghats, the evening Satsang started with the All Loving God. It was a wonderful time that witnessed the confluence of the Paramatma-the Supreme; the Nature-His creation, and the Beings -seen and unseen to our eyes. One would easily start to lose one’s identity with the body unmindful of the hot, humid weather in such a Divine environment!

Not much time was lost before the weather by Swami’s Grace started to show a quick relief. Temperatures plummeted and cool breeze started flowing into the venue, and one could easily experience the invisible hand of the Almighty with us. In minutes, it turned to a biting cold place-worthy of Lord’s Grace.

The place turned warm with the Bonfire created by the Thimsa Dancers group. Thimsa dance has been an age-old dance of the Tribals of the region which is recognised worldwide. The dance has many things to offer- Music that will wean our minds away from the mundane world and the Dance that will instantly make us realise the significance of Unity, Harmony in thought word and deed with no signs of any expectation either to be recognised or rewarded among the most humble Tribal performers.

Lights were turned off after a sumptuous dinner bringing the day‘s proceedings to a close. Truly, one could witness in air the joy that filled every Heart ruminating on one single sacred thought that the Lord planted in their Hearts – SOUSEELYATA SAPTAHAM!

The Lord urged upon everyone seated in the cool windy weather At The Lotus feet to aim at Self introspection and improvise in their Character to come out in flying colours by the end of the Holy Trip. The Lord has His own ways – What He Wills happens!!!
