Andhra Kodai Summer Retreat 2023 : Day 4

Life is a Game, Play it!

Swami often has guided us to play the game of life with cheer and smiles! Day 4 of this beautiful retreat in the presence of Divinity was to the drive home this point!

The day started at 5:15AM with Omkaram and Gayathri chanting followed by Nagara Sankeerthan. The Lord of Removal of Obstacles, who restores auspiciousness everywhere, Lord Ganesha, was paid obeisances in the form of a Ganpathi Homam. The beautiful resort gleamed with auspiciousness.

Further in the day, the Lord, Who is always looking for every chance to help and guide His devotees, planned to have games by grouping devotees into various groups. Bhajan Antakshari, musical games etc. were played with great joy!

The Lord and the devotees were in for an musical evening, as the evening started with a melodious session of music played brilliantly by Smt. Nori Gayathri and team. The evening further, sticking to the theme of the day, had musical chairs for all devotees. As always, the Lord was actively participating and deriving cute pearls of laughter from the fun in the games.

The lesson that one has to be cheerful while playing the game of life and give one’s best while leaving the results to the Lord was well understood by one and all on this day!
