Andhra Kodai Summer Retreat 2023 : Day 5

Even though if the mother is a thousand miles away from her children, her love is such that she is always concerned about her children’s welfare and prosperity! Similarly, the love of a thousand mothers, our Swami, Who, albeit was spending time with His chosen ones, was concerned about the needy, who are in turn verily His children! Today was one such day where His Love and constant concern for one and all was seen by His devotees.

The day started at 5:15 AM with Omkaram and Supbrabhatam followed by Nagara Sankeerthan in the resort. Being a Thursday, Guru Paduka was performed by devotees to please their Lord. The day, buzzed into activity, with yet another free healthcare project of Swami being launched. In order to take free high quality healthcare to the needy in rural remote areas, ‘Sai Aarogya’ (mobile healthcare with tertiary level specialisations) was launched in the presence of AP ST Commission Chairman Sri Kumbha Ravi Babu garu along with dignitaries from GIC Housing Pvt Ltd and NAV Foundation. Aimed at providing free rural medical services, Sai Aarogya will not only take quality healthcare to the remote and underprivileged areas but also screen cancer comprehensively at the door steps of the tribal areas, thereby focussing on prevention and early detection.

The pleasant evening, that followed, went on to present a divine treat to everyone’s ears! Sri Venkateshwar Rao garu and team performed Annamaiyya’s Keerthanas much to the joy of Swami and His devotees. Swami expressed His happiness about the performance that was filled with bhava and yearning for the Lord.

The team of devotees, who in the previous day were treated with games and sports with Swami, were today taught that while one is deriving happiness for oneself, one must also work for the happiness of others for the joy to last forever!
