GuruPoornima is the holy occasion to pay gratitude to the Guru, Who is an epitome of love and filled with concern for the welfare of one and all.
This year, GuruPoornima was celebrated on 13th July 2022 in the Divine Presence of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba in the port city of Visakhapatnam. The Lord arrived at the V Conventions hall, an exemplary venue for the celebrations. The devotees, gathered to welcome their Lord, had their eyes filled with bliss and ecstacy on getting the Darshan of the Lord and Guru.
Paduka Pooja was performed where devotees took turns to enjoy the divine proximity to their Lord. Bhajans filled the air with devotion and bliss. The nectarine bhajans were followed by an introductory speech by the Secretary of the trust Dr. Kalyan Sarvepalli, who took the opportunity to share his insights on the sadhana of Chatustayam and on the guidance of ‘Follow Me’ lovingly provided by Swami.
A video was presented to the gathering that ran through the activities of Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare over the past 1 year. The audience were very happy to see the amount of work done over the past year with the guidance and blessings of Swami.
Following this, Sri Srinivas Boppa, President of the Trust discussed about the various updates and growth of the trust. Sri Chaitanya took to the stage next and explained his understanding of selfless service to that of a flower which blooms and provides fragrance irrespective of its environment.
It was the turn of the young girls to dedicate their devotion at the Lord’s Feet. The young and ever inspiring Sow. Nithya recited Mookam karoti vachalam and expounded its meaning. This was followed by Sow. Snigdha performing her dance act for the Lord.
Finally a talk from trustee Sri Ramamurthy on his experiences with the Lord and an inspiring talk from Sri Ramagopal garu extolling the Guru-Shishya relationship brought everyone to the most awaited moment of Bhagawan Baba’s Divine Discourse.
Post Bhagawan’s Divine GuruPoornima message, the morning session came to a close with Arathi and Divya Prasadam.
